What’s going on I’m losing control
Everyone leaves, leaves me alone
They say they don’t care about what’s next
It was nice for a while, but we wasted your time
Try to write a new song for an hour or so
They say is too pop, melodic and soft
A few months later we’re still in this spot
But they don’t write at all and it piss me off
Well, I’m done
You know what they say is
Better alone than in bad company
This music is mine
And I don’t need to be with lazy or worried guys
You’re on your own, while I still play in every show
That I’ve got, without your help for sure
I always take seriously everything I do
I also have fun, could you not point the gun?
It seemed we were going oh so well
But out of the blue they left me again
Nothing new
You know what they say is
Better alone than in bad company
This music is mine
And I don’t need to be with lazy or worried guys
You’re on your own, while I still play in every show
That I’ve got, without your help so
Don’t think I am mad at you
I keep thinking you are really good friends
In 12 years I never had a band
That lasted more than 3/4 years and
It was never all my fault
So now I took my bravest step
I wanna live my way
My guitar and me
It’s been 6 months since I made this choice
I’m writing songs all day long
I wish I could travel through time
To tell myself “Dear, take away your fears”
You know what they say is
Better alone than in bad company
This music is mine
And I don’t need to be with lazy or worried guys
You’re on your own, while I still play in every show
That I’ve got, without your help for sure
